Fuel Sending Ground location ?

Hey can someone confirm for me where the fuel sender ground is supposed to bolt to on the frame.
Below is a picture of where it was before I tore it down (don't know if this was the factory location or not).
Then a picture of what I have. If that is the proper location, I will have to make a longer wire. This one on the new sender is a little short.

I'm pretty sure it bolts to the rear crossmember but let someone else chime in that knows for certain.

Rear cross member is were mine was/is. First pic is correct.

Thanks guys. I guess the wire on the new sender must be a little shorter. I doubt I could pull it that far. Looks like I will have to crimp a longer one.
