Lokar cable shifter on a 73-87,91 ?????????????
 

Anyone here that has used the Lokar cable shifter on a 73-87 have any photos of the assembly on the steering column or on the trans? I'm trying to install this on my '86 to a 4L80 and I'm having trouble getting anything to line up correctly. The rod on the trans end looks like it would be at too much of an angle to shift past OD and on the column, the supplied brackets don't want to line up at all. ANY help or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

I can make it work with a fair amount of tweaking. I was just wondering if anyone had installed it the way the instructions show.
