are you asking about the one with 2 bolt holes , looks like a hicky, autocraft or warn type they are a fairly popular hook on a lot of 4x4 aftermarket winch bumpers and grill guards

Okay, First off, I can't believe there are so many threads on just TOW HOOKS! Second, another thread had $400 - $700 JUST FOR TOW HOOKS???!!! Seriously?
This chrome snaggle tooth was in the parts box that came with my truck. I was hoping to gain at least one horsepower putting it on. http://cdn.ipernity.com/200/06/16/40...fef76.1024.jpg |
Re: ID this Tow Hook I found on eBay
Those Jeep hooks have always been cheap and plentiful. You can still buy them at TSC. The tow hooks that came on these trucks only came on these trucks, have a GM part#, and only were made a handful of years 44+ years ago. If you just need somethng to hook a chain to than the Jeep hooks work...except you need the special little clips they sell so they can be used inverted without having to hold the chain in place

special-K: So it depends on function vs. having matching serial numbers like anything collectable. Veedy interesting......
