Offy intake + 700R4 + 250/292 | Anyone done this combination?
 

I'm in a situation where I want to upgrade my carb, so I'll need a new intake manifold. I'd prefer the Offy since I don't require making any changes to the exhaust system. However, the Offy will require the mounting the carb in a sideways instead of a front-to-back orientation. My question comes with the TV cable. With the carb mounted sideways, the cable will need to make a turn to come into the carb. In theory this should be OK, but just wanted to see if anyone has already done it before reinventing the wheel.
