I do not get to the 73-87 boards much, but we are releasing another "Classic Heartbeat" exclusive Fleetside Gas Filler hose to add to our growing line of hoses. It is the 79-81 Fleetside hose. It fits both left and right sides. In case you didn't know what is in our line here is a list:
73-78 Fleetside (Fits both left and right sides)
73-78 Stepside Right Side
73-78 Stepside Left Side
79-81 Fleetside (NEW) (Fits both left and right sides)
Our hoses are made in America and come with a 5 year manufacturer's warrantee. WES

I could not get to the hoses either ,I need one for my 74 Chevy stepside with the gas tank on the passenger side.

Do these work with 16 gallon and 20 gallon tanks? Assuming they work for the 16, they would be able to be cut down for the 20?

We are working on other hoses also. The newer the trucks get, then the hoses can change up. WES
