Bench seat ID help
1 Attachment(s)
Well, I got my lights working and the grill and bumper on my 1972 Highlander. I am moving to the interior and am wanting to purchase an original style seat cover for the truck. I am not sure if the seat in the truck is original or if it came out of another year model of truck. The cover is obviously not original. The seat looks like a full foam seat, but I want to be certain before I order a cover. If anyone can ID the seat or tell me how to ID it, I would certainly appreciate it. I can take measurements or pics or whatever is needed.
Thanks Mike |

Here is the truck with the grill and Bumper installed. I have a few bolts left to put in and the wiring for the headlights to finish up

Re: Bench seat ID help
The brackets and back rest look correct, and yes, it does appear you have the full foam seat!!! Good score, while not really rare, nowhere near as common as the flat foam seat.
I recovered mine last year, you'll see I got a full foam bottom, but had to cut it: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=652950 |

Mike that thing looks great! It doesn't look like the same truck it was a few months ago!

Re: Bench seat ID help
Thanks Tyler, I really appreciate all your help. I have got it pretty much drivable now. I just need to seal the hole in the firewall where the AC unit was.
