Multiple Questions
First up can the stock steering column be shortened? Does anyone know a company making stock looking billet steering wheels that are up to two inches smaller in diameter?
As to why the above, I have long arms and if the column was about 2-3" closer to the dash then my arms would be more comfortable. As to why a stock looking billet wheel, simply because its going to be stronger and with the open area seeing the gauges will be easier. Next question is about long stepside fenders, are they the same as the 57-59 fenders? The look the same to me. |
Re: Multiple Questions
yes the column can be relocated closer to the dash, look in the faq section for the details.
No, no one makes a billet stock wheel, look in the faq section for a write up on how to make a stock wheel smaller or you can find a GM wheel that you like that is smaller. |
Re: Multiple Questions
55-66 Stepside fenders are all the same.
