lookin to buy 4 stock steel wheels for my '69 3/4ton gmc. 8lug with nubs for hubcaps. had 16.5 but are long gone. not sure on the width yet, so who has a clean/dry set? paul:gmc2:

Do you want 16.5x8.25s or 16x6 or what ever size the stock ones were.
I have 17.5s as well if your into those but they have clip style cap holders.

I believe 16x6, I could do 16.5x6 if I knew the difference. I prefer 69 era but 73-87 should work? let me know. no heavy rust please, I have enough here in ny for everyone! lol paul

16.5x8.25 is the camper special wheels. I'll post a picture of the 16s

The hole on these wheels from the truck pictured? Or the 16.5 wheels?

pictured, centers should be just over 4 1/2'' 16.5 wheels should be same. thats what my truck had. 9.75-16.5

Ill do $20 a piece for the wheels but I have to get the tires un-mounted and shipping will be around $30 a piece unless I can get a good deal.
I may be shipping a truck to the upper east coast too so maybe I could throw them in the bed and the distance could be driven. Ill see where he's at on the truck purchase and if he's ready to pull the trigger or not.

I too live in upstate NY, Cooperstown, and I have a 1970 GMC 2500, and faced the same dilemma as you. You may not want to hear this but I found a real nice clean set of Ford 16" rims for only $60. total. They work great and you would never know any difference. My stock original chrome hubcaps fit on them perfectly.

well i havent done my homework on ford or dodge, which i know will interchange, but when i see factory wheels its all done lol mike let me know bro.....

The other deal isn't looking like it will pan out, sorry. If I need to get these in mounted let me know. I'll sell them for 20 a piece but after I mounting and shipping there is probably a better deal locally or close to you.

you can find the ford wheels in a 16 x 7 which will allow for a wider tire AND still use your stock hubcaps. i recently grabbed a set at pick n pull on half price day for 60 bucks for all five. E-250 and E350 vans have them. just an idea.
