Wiring harness from dash to rear end
 

The plug at my bumper is correct to split to both tail lights, but at the dash I was hoping for a plug for th other end of harness. Following the wires up through the frame rail, about 12in from the ig switch they Y into the main front harness. No simple plug. At first it seems I could cut where they Y in and put on plug to connect to my new harness. What does someone think I should do? (I have new rear harness and new mid harness)
