BB engine mounts

Looking for suggestions on mounting my BB into my 68 frame, what is everyone using and can you use small block towers?

68-71 towers ($125-ish for a pair) can be used with sbc mounts which are relatively cheap. or 72+ setup which is more expensive. my understanding is that sbc towers won't clear the exhaust. not sure about aftermarket options.

You CAN use the small block stands, they just do not fit right and the headers will not clear them. Makes for a cobbled install. Thanks, Fred.

You can use 73+ mounts which will accommodate small or big block engines. I have 2 sets foe $50 each. This is a cheaper way than buying 67-72 bbc mounts
