New member/ truck questions

Hey guys I am 17 years old and building a 62 c10 long fleetside with the help of my dad and cousin. I am coming to you guys for knowledge and inspiration. Right now I'm on the search for a custom center console ideas. I have two Recaro style racing bucket seats (not sure if they are off brand or not, they were freshly reappholstered when I purchased them). I am looking for something that will fit snuggly between the two seats and offer me good height to have an arm rest/ center console storage. I am open for any ideas and or considerations. I will be posting pictures of what I have done already.

:welcome2: You will get more than enough info here. There really isn't much you can just buy and put in. I have to build mine from scratch, you might find a local stereo shop that does custom stuff. A lot of people put their subs in the center console.

I actually found a guy in Florida that builds consoles out of marine grade fiberglass. He makes some specifically for our trucks. Since it is made out of fiber glass I guess it would be pretty much cut and paste whatever I want wherever I want it.

i am using a 2004 silver ado console it fits great with the leather seats outta the same truck. It works well with the hump in floor also. It is going to take some custom touches for it to fit the the dash though. my opinion is that it'll be worth it in the end
