1970 Blazer 2WD

Ok I've found a 1970 2wd project

Its a true CE vin number and frame matches VIN

Not many were made in 1970 and very few left.

My plans are to do a rotisserie restoration

Here's what I noticed it needs

Correct doors - has doors with tops cut for blazer
Top is missing
Needs correct seats front & rear
Center Console
Heater box & fan
Heater Controls
Radio
Bumpers
Hood - current has louvers cut into it
Passenger inner fender
Small patches by end gate
Im sure it will need more after blasting

Has a 67 front clip on it

Blazer runs & drives but will need complete restoration

I can buy it for $6500

what do ya think?

Hard to put a price without pics. The door's were cut down at the factory, so unless they are really crudely done, they could be the originals. Look for a blue sticker on drivers door jamb, it will have Vin and build date. Most don't survive though

Interested to see this blazer. I recently bought one here in Canada.

That seems kind of high for all the stuff it needs.

You will get lots of opinions here but if you have already accepted that it is going to be a money pit and plan on diving right in then go for it. You will spend 4x times that much restoring it, so heckling over the purchase price that may or may not be over priced by $500/$1000 or whatever is wasting time. In my opinion anyway. Buy it and start building it. It is a factory 2wd so that is pretty rare if all the documentation is all there.
