has anyone use these brakes on a 71 or 72 4x4 blazer? if so any mods that need to be done?

I remember doing some research on them for my build but thought I read that they really aren't that great of an upgrade for the money due to the fact they are still a D52 size caliper. I put new factory calipers up front and went with discs in the rear and a hydroboost and my Jimmy stops as good as my 07 yukon.

I put them on my 71 2wd a few months ago. I know you were asking about 4x4's but they were very easy to install, just remember to do the stainless line kit with them. Didn't really notice much stopping difference. I also added slotted vented rotors at the same time.

I have them on mine but I'm not finished with the build.What size rims are your running?

I had clearance issues with 15" rim with 5 1/2" back spacing. They are the later model ralley wheels. I ended up using a 1/4" spacer to make it work.

I think on page 8 or 9 of my built thread you can see what I'm talking about
