1965 c10 lay ground project ...need advises

Hi everyone , the title say everything
I know there is plenty of treads and believe me...I digged into it
But still I didn't get all my answers

I want the truck lay frame with bags
I don't like when the truck have excessive camper look
I'd like to be able to turn even low
I want this truck to feel good/right when its driving

I know , there is narrowed drop member , and those tubular arms
But its cost $$$$ , I know because most of the treads I saw , people use aftermarket crossemeber

My question : can reach those goal just by zing it andmdrop spidle ?
I'm also wondering about the clearance fenders wheels ?

I don't mind cut weld and do some fab

You can z the frame but its a huge job to get right and safe. And depending how far you z it you can have driveline angle problems.I rather save up and buy a crossmember and have less problems and work.Have you looked at http://www.scottshotrods.com/ they have a weld on ifs bagged that will lay frame with a 31 inch tall tire. They even have rear weld in kits.

Choppin' Block has recently came out with their front and rear kit as well. They designed their rear kit to be a full back half, which also will server as a short bed conversion as well. About 1 week lead time to build. Always good to research all options and go from there. Let us know if we can help and be glad to go over in detail with you.

Just air bagging the truck and not laying frame your looking 3 grand easy if not more.To lay frame things start to get pricey,Scotts and porterbuilt both offer weld in front and rear kits that are cheaper then the bolt in stuff.

I think you can do it for less than 3k....but you will be running a VERY basic set up: http://www.azproperformance.com/1-4-...ement-Kit.html

I bought the builders kit when he released 100 of them a few months ago for my 66. I haven't gotten it yet. I have seen the production pics on Instagram. He doesn't have a good name around here anymore so you might not find out much from this crew.
