Need some wheel info

I am thinking about putting some 15x10 rallies on the back. Could someone help me understand back spacing. I have 15x8 wheels now and don't want the 10" to stick out side of the fenders but go more inside towards the bed. Summit has some with 5" offset and 4.5" offset. Which one would give me the look I am looking for without rubbing ? I am not looking for a deep dish look but want the meat look from the back... Thanks

Maybe this will help: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/...jsp?techid=101

Quote:

Backspacing, similar to offset, is the distance from the hub mounting surface to the inside lip of the wheel (measured in inches).

if I remember right my 15x10s were 5 inch backspace, and were perfect. 4.5 would be pushing the wheel more out towards your fenders.

The 71 axle housing is a bit wider than the earlier year models too.. so yes. If the choices are 4.5 or 5 go with the 5" BS.

Most of the guys running 20x10 use 5.5" BS on the later model trucks. 5.75 for a big static dropped truck, 6" or more even on a bagged truck.

What size tire are you thinking?
