longer wheel studs?
 

anybody make longer wheel studs for a chevy/gmc/blazer that go through the disc rotor? would like 1/2" more in length. have some heavy duty lugs and the studs only go through half way.

Find a really good parts store, and ask to see their Dorman catalog.
My local store has a wall of Dorman organizers and several are full of wheels studs.

You'll need overall length, stud diameter, and shoulder diameter.
The shoulder diameter will be the make-or-break for the swap. They make several different sizes, and it's got to be really close to what you've got now or it's a no-go.

If they don't have them in the store, they should be able to order them for you.

In the past, I've just taken the old one in and they matched it with the dial caliper at the counter.
Easy-peasy, if you don't deal with a guy who is lost without The Parts Computer!

Rockauto.com has a number of them - under tools and universal parts, as well as by various truck model.

the only ones i have found and are for a Bronco which are 1/2" not 7/16. could be made to work but are $75 for just 5------------

The only way is to upgrade to a 1/2'' stud and drill out both the rotor and the hub and press the 2 back together. I do it all the time for my customers that run larger tires and pop the small 7/16'' studs. Some even step up to the 9/16 studs with their 6 lug

thanks kwmech--I figured that was the only way to do it with 1/2" studs. I have new 7/16 studs as the rotors are new. part # for the studs? maybe i will just bring them up to ya. I also need my axle stub shafts bearing surface turned down a few thou. pm me if you can do this work.
