Anyone do a walk through cab? Cut out the back of the can and add another row of seats.

Open Road motorhome company did one on my 68 back in 68. You opened the passenger door, folded the bucket seat forward, and could walk through into the motorhome. They sold them as factory brand new Chevy's with warranty and everything.
Here are a couple shots,

Are you talking about a crew cab?

No, something like I did to my rock crawler. Basically cut out the back of the cab, weld the cab bad bed together and mount some seats to make a 4-seater.

Some of the motorhome cabs are not cut back as far as Cooperhw's on the roof.

I have never seen anybody here hack up a perfictly good cab for that reason.

Re: Walk through cab

i did one back in my early 20's, it was on a 89 chevy with a camper shell. its actually pretty easy to do, I did most of the cuts with a sawzall. I used camper boot to seal it back up then made plywood panels for the floor and sides of the cab that I covered with carpet.
I didn't do it for more passenger room it was done to help show of the wall of 8 15" subwoofers in the bed of the truck
