Pa. member on the hunt for a truck
Hello from southeastern Pennsylvania! My very first car (back in 1971) was a 1967 Carryall with a 283 and powerglide. Loved that thing because it was so different. Nobody else at school had one....
I'm currently a commercial building contractor a few years from retirement and decided that my next and LAST truck will be a 67 -72 C10 or C20 long bed. So far I've looked at 4 examples but have yet to find "mine". At this point I'd like to find a restored rig still in good shape that is useable as a daily driver. Must-haves are V8, factory A/C, and gauge package. Might even consider a truck with some custom touches but nothing wild. This site is a great resource and I'm learning every time I log on. |

Find one from the Southwest, California of Pacific North West...
Carlisle, PA car show (spring, fall, gm and truck) will all have some nice examples for sale. Welcome to the board, I'm a PA resident as well. The for sale section on the board will have some as well. |

If you buy anything restored you'll have no idea what's under the paint and can't drive in anything but sun. I'm from Ohio and have seen rust start a year after bodywork.

Yeah, I plan to see what Carlisle has to offer if I haven't pulled the trigger.
