Is one of these tools correct for removal of Dana 44 '78 unit, 6 lug, spindle parts, spindle nut.

Les--mine has 4 teeth that stick down like the one you have that has 5 teeth. the one with 4/t might work? mine looks just like the one on the right with 4t.

It will be a 4 prong like the one on the left but there are different sizes, 1/2 & 3/4 ton vs 1 ton.
That 6 prong socket is the style used on 14 bolts and D70's. |

Tool update, the socket style tool above worked for the Dana 44. Part number W1269, it also has a Lisle part number too, do not remember it.

I like that one better than mine, it fits the nut like a true socket. mine slips off the nut easy.
