Will 15x11 steel wheels with 7 inch backspacing fit?

I have a 68 short bed with a rear out of a 72 under it. The rear is lowered 6 inches. I have an opportunity to buy a set of 15x11 ralley wheels that have about a 7 inch backspace on them. I am currently trying to get the offset of the wheel to help with this.

Thanks

A set, as in all four? I can't say for sure, but I can't imagine them working on the front. I did a back-half on the only 2wd truck I ever put huge rear meats on. I don't recall the backspace but the bed was tubbed and the original frame was absent in that area

No this will be just for the rear.

Easy to figure it out with a couple tools!
Look here.

Most 71-72 rearends with a fleetside bed will tuck a 10" wheel with a 5.5" backspace.
That would equal a 11" wheel with a 6.5" bs.
Are you sure they aren't 10's?
Wheels are measured from the inner tire bead surface.
Not outside to outside lip measurements.
Plus a 11" rim is an odd size.

Here are some pictures that are in the ad. The other wheel has a Hoosier Pro Street 29x12.50.15 mounted on it.

Custom built wheel.
Jack up your truck and measure both sides.
PLace the rearend on jackstands so the weight is on the suspension.
That's a 12" total width wheel.
So you need 5" to the outer bedside and 7" to the wheel tub.
Plus any tire bulge that hangs past the rim.
I'd also want at least 1/2" of clearance for tire roll coing around corners.

Looks like they welded two 8" rally wheels together.

I bet you will need to widen your wheel tubs to make these work.

Re: Will 15x11 steel wheels with 7 inch backspacing fit?

I had two 15x8 stock ralley wheels off my 69' C10 widen to 15x12 with 7 inch back spacing and they went on my original 6 bolt rear end with no modifications to the rear. I split the rear tubs and moved the inner part of the tub in 4 inches like a lot of people do to keep the stock look. The wheels went over the stock brake drums with more than a inch clearance. I wanted to go 15x14 but my son talked me into the 15x12 instead. I put the Mikey Thompson 29x15x15 sportsman fire tread tires on the wheels. After installing the wheels and tires, I found out the 15x14 would had worked with the bigger M&T 31x15x18 tires. Now I have to save up for that combination. The 15x12 with the tires cost around $1,300. The 15x14 with the tires will cost around $1,500.

Will they fit? Yes, but it will be close. You might have some clearance issues with the e-brake cable and possibly the coil spring depending on what size tires you are running.

I have a 15x14 rim with 7.5 of backspacing and the rim just touches the e-brake cable. I am also running a MT 31/16/15 tire that just clears the coil spring. Plus wheel tubs.
