Nice old 68. If that paint is original gold/white it's a 50th ann. Edition truck. Is it a Custom Camper too?

Gold paint code on the glove box door Number 551? if memory serves. You should also have gold/parchment vinyl on the seats. It should be a Custom or CST too.

well I guess. my grandfather's brother died and left the truck to my granfather and he gave it to me cause I always LOVED it! The shell has been their as long as I can remeber and that woudl probally be around 15+ yrs. considering I cannot say when he got the shell. but for a sake I think I will call my grandfather and find out.

C&C ( Custome Camper ) on the door it had the " CUSTOME " like on the blazer that says CST. I could not find anyting out paint on the iinfo in the glove box. but it is in great condition so I will take a pic @ lunch so you guys can analyze it. Very clean and easy to read. The seat is outline is white and where your but sits is a glodish color. I think you may be able to see it in the inside pictures I linked to .

Wow....that thing is nice!

Ditch the shell IMO.....

Broken_down? 09-19-2003 09:54 PM

lol.. I am not going to get ride of the shell but I want to take it off. But I cannot for the DMV in CA is a POS and wants to charge me $204 dollars a yrs for registration !!!!!!! those a$$e$! So I had to register it as a Passanger vechile. and because it is now register a passanger vechile I have "BY LAW" have to have the shell on. If I take the shell off it make the truck a Commerical vechile. and I woudl be running it illegally. difference in price you ask.. passanger $50 commerical $200 ( I cannot afford 200 right now)

SO a word to those thinking of moving to CA. DON'T

Thanks for posting the image for me BUD :D :D :D :flag: :bowtie: :gmc: you rock :metal:

never heard of that crazy law? all trucks are registered as commercial unless they have a camper? wtf?

lukecp 09-21-2003 12:07 AM

Isn't cali broke right now? Wait...i think every state is broke, lol.

Just trying to make up for overspending and lower revenue by overcharging DMV fees proably.....
