Leaf Spring Load Rating Help!
Guys I need some help. I'm going to order new springs for my k30/k20 project. It's a k30 frame, but im doing a 52" spring swap up front, which is where I'm having troubles. What would be the best spring rate, or best load rating tof order? This will be mostly a daily driver, push pull steering with a sway bar, so really mostly on road, occasionally off. Any help will be appreciated.

Re: Leaf Spring Load Rating Help!
Found a used set fir 75 from a c10. Most new ones I found were 6 leave (5+1) and at 1875 lbs.

Re: Leaf Spring Load Rating Help!
If its mostly on road and not offroad then 52" springs doesn't make sense.
52" springs are usually used to provide lift and better articulation. |
Re: Leaf Spring Load Rating Help!
I know it seems contradictory, but I plan on driving it to wheel, wheeling, and driving home. Like it'll be my all in 1( other than good gas milage haha)! But Im not sure how the load rating affects suspension travel and handling, so was unsure if it made a difference. Like if 1875 lb capacity springs rode better but didn't flex as much as 2500 lb springs, I'd go 1875 for the ride. Know what I mean?
