What years used cast iron mirror arms and was it both chevy and GMC.

I'll take the light blue at the bottom or far left and would like one of the shorties but they all look a little beat up where the shaft meets the base. Is it just the pictures? Which ever is the best of the 3 I'll call dibs on. Thanks.

I think they would fit, just would not be correct. They are all left sides.

Great question - so the answer is 1960 & 1961, and they came on both Chevy and GMC. The interesting thing is that the longer arms you see on the left are all off 1961 trucks - only 1960 came with the short version you see on the right. Most people do not know this odd fact, so you will see them at shows with the wrong mirror arms on either year because they bought them off Ebay or wherever without knowing.

Will the short arms work on a '64-'66 on the driver's side, or will the vent windows be in the viewing angle?

I like the look of the shorter arms, and the fact that they are cast iron (less vibration at highway speeds).
