Bucket seats, feedback?

I've been eyeing these seats for sometime, has anyone ordered these and if so any feedback?

They look pretty thick.. could make for a cramped cab if you are tall/big/heavy

Yeah my gas tank is relocated so lots of room behind my seat and I don't fit the tall, big, or heavy category at least for now lol
They make a high back seat but I think that would be too cramped

maybe its just the angle of the picture but they look more like a couch than a truck seat to me.

don't do it!! ;) Stock is good. They look comfy, but I agree with the above comments - really look too big n fluffy for these trucks.

As a side note, moving the gas tank out of the cab will not gain you any "leg room" unless you plan on angling the seat back straight up 90 degrees, lol. The top of the seatback still hits the back of the cab so you cannot move the seat back any further, gas tank or no gas tank.

Right the point of my comment is that I have room behind the existing bench seat which I would like to utilize. My current seat does not fold forward.
My preference is the low back buckets with a flip down console..

They're not cheap but when The time comes I'm considering them.

These have more of a classic line

Look much more period correct, but again the upper seat is pretty thick. I'm tall so these would never work for me

LedZepp is right. People think removing the tank gets you more leg room but it won't unless you take it a step further --

Note that these are van bucket seats which are pretty upright. Not 90 degrees but pretty upright

I also modified the pedals

I'm 6'5" so I had to try something to sit comfortably in the small cab...

this style is way better than the original ones you posted but if it were me I would source a seat from a late 80's/early 90's truck and just have it recovered. I bet it wouldn't cost nearly $900 like those ones you posted.

here is one from a 92 that's been redone
