Welding wire
 
My mig welder ran out of wire tonight, what gauge should I pick up for sheet metal repair. 110v Eastwood mig with gas

.023 is the thinest and will be easier to work with. I have .030 in my welder. I'm too lazy the change it to do sheet metal work so I do most of my body work with tig or .030

Thanks. I got the .025 wire from Home Depot. I think that's hat the machine came with. they both say 6mm. I found out the hard way not to take the tension off the wire roll to keep it from unraveling. Probably lost 10% of the spool. argggghhh!

Oh, well, its only money
