Not another tubular control arm thread...

I have seen the PB, CPP and DJM responses. Has anyone used POL tubular control arms? If you have, give me the skinny please. CPP wants almost $150 for shipping and POL is free shipping and are available now vs 3-4 weeks. TIme is sensitive at this point.

I wouldnt be afraid to order from POL. I have used them in the past, and been very pleased.

Haven't used any aftermarket control arms but the budget friendly ones came up on another forum. They have cheap ball joints that can fail prematurely from what the survivors have claimed. One guy even had the welds xrayed and they were great, just needed a better balljoint. These were for a chevelle. Not sure if the truck arms have the same issues. I'll have to look into POL. I want some arms for my 85.

My boss at work just told me he had to replace the ball joints in aftermarket arms on his '69 Camaro. So I echo that.

Thanks for the input. I was afraid of the budget stock replacements and wanted some better geometry for my 5\7 drop. I did go ahead and order the CPP arms because I like the lower shock mount better than the POL. I hope they get here in time for my shakedown prior to Hot Rod Power Tour. Going to long haul it this year.
