DBW installation

2 Attachment(s)
Okay guys finally made it home to work on my truck . I am working on the dbw pedal and trying to fab it up for my truck. Does this look like it will work location wise?
I think it looks like it is almost in the stock location but oem pedal has been out for sometime now.

How does it feel when you sit in the seat and depress it?

That looks just like the same as my pedal even the bracket. Now all you have to do is bend that lower tab to the same angle as the floor. Mine was from 06 Tahoe.

Just wanted to show you how close they resemble. I made spacers for the 2 tabs and used bolts. Looks good.

Used that big hole on the right to run wires out to my DBW module. If you still have the factory grommet on that wire, almost fits that hole perfect that's if you're mounting the module in the engine compartment.

Pretty sure I don't have a cat under my dash
Haha.. yeah that looks pretty good. You have yours to the right a little more then I do. So I will need to verify that mind doesn't need to go over a little more. Think I might mount the tac under the dash

You will have to redrill the pedal mount holes, but it should work.

I've been looking. I think it might set to far back. Right now mine is flush with the break pedal with the oem bracket. You're bracket 90° back to the firewall right

All the gas pedals in my newer cars sit about 1" forward of the brake pedal. With that being said, I also make this bracket which might work better for you:
