WARN manual hub 71k10 help
 

swapped out a axle shaft on my 1971 k10 dana 44. put my hub on in the free position bolt them up . so here is the problem, the arrow that points to free on the hub and then should stop on lock is all over the place, and its not locking. this pic is what i have . what am i over looking.

The pic you posted is the for the spicer locking hub, did you reinstall in the lock postion ? The warn are different and can be mounted in any location because of how the hub is built.

ok so it was the actuating cam body. it wasnt sliding all the way out. i took it all apart and cleaned it up greased it moved it back and forth a few times to make sure it worked and all was good. i think the spicer and the warn had the same hub style? mine is a warn same as the pic. thanx for the help. hope this helps anyone that has the same problem. oh and yes always install hub in the free position.

Here is a 1/2 spicer locking hub it's 100% different than the warn .

Guess I was seeing things ... went out to look and they don't say warn . Must be Spicer . Glad people like you are around to set people like me straight or we wouldn't get anything done . Probably because I was google warn hub rebuild videos saw a warn one done . It was the same as mine exactly with a warn hub and just did the same as that guy did. I hade to look 3 times at my hub because I was so sure it said warn. Lol no pics unless you want to see one will my head down in shame . But I still don't get how the guy on the video had the same internal as mine like in the pic..and a warn hub. What gives ?
