1968 C10 Stolen Pasadena Tx

Hey there, fellow C10 lovers, my precious 1968 C10 was stolen from J's Performance on the corner of S Shaver and Spencer Hwy. in South Houston Tx last Wednesday night. Just thought I'd post info up here in case anyone runs across it by chance. First, a little history. My dad bought this truck brand new and it has been in the family ever since. We decided in 2010 to go restomod and started on the project together, complete with a Mast Motorsports L92, TKO600 5 speed. It is currently in epoxy primer with the front clip removed (except the core support, radiator and cooling fans). The bulkhead is the original medium powder blue as is the interior. The last time I saw it the hood and fenders were in the back. My dad passed away in 2011 and this truck is the most precious thing I have next to my family. I am utterly heartbroken and so angry I cant see straight. If anyone by chance runs across the truck PLEASE contact me or the South Houston Police department. the VIN is CE148S104719. thanks guys and gals, I really appreciate it.

I live in deer park and always in the Pasadena area.. I'll keep a eye out.. Was the motor installed? If so that's why they got it

Thanks 74baggedbug, I appreciate it brother. Yes, the motor was installed. I was in the shop, but evidently in something else a this point.

This sucks. Did they have any camera footage? Do you think it was a inside job - someone who knew or passed word to a buddy that the motor was installed and set up having it stolen? I guess that is only speculation at this point...

Hope it is found and returned....

That really sucks, thieves deserve to have their hands cut off. I would keep a close eye on craigslist. I has some subwoffers stolen stolen out of my wifes car and fould them listed on craigslist two days later.

i'll keep an eye out in the Alvin, lake Jackson area. I've noticed a couple new ones in the area but they were 69 and up

I'm down the coastline in the Rockport/Corpus area. I'll keep a watch out for it and/or parts of it that come up down here.

I'll keep my eye out bro, i live in houston but I'm always browsing on CL and offer up. Sucks to hear about this and I'm pretty sure it was inside job if it was in the shop and especially knowing how most of the shops are in Pasadena. (Just my opinion on stories from inside jobs I heard from shops in Pasadena)

I agree, somebody at the shop or knows somebody that works there.
