Sunex Universal Impact Sockets

I was looking at getting a set of 3/8 drive universal impact sockets. Can anyone provide information (good or bad) about Sunex Tools?

Thanks!

Here's a picture of the universal style sockets I'm asking about. Again, curious if anyone has used the Sunex brand.

Thanks,
Wayne

We have some sunex stuff around the shop, I have no complaints about it. I have snap-on swivel sockets, so can't help ye to specifically. I see they have a lifetime warranty which is always good. The joints go bad under heavy use.

I have that exact socket set, and many other Sunex tools - including end wrenches up to 2 1/2", impact (up to 3 1/2") & chrome socket sets. They are import tools, but they are a good value, imo. I use at work (oilfield/drilling) and at home as well. The only two failures I've had is an 1 7/16" deep impact socket that cracked the first time we used it, and a 3/8" ratchet that fell apart the first time I used it - the groove that the snap ring fits in to hold the ratchet pawl wasn't machined right and the snap ring wouldn't stay in. Other than that, they have been solid.

I use 3/4 drive sunex sockets on my torque multiplier on machines at work. I torque up to 1500ft/lbs and have no had any issues yet.

OK..... Thanks for the feedback. I think I'll pull the trigger on some.
