My latest project. Old City of Topeka fire truck. Rust-free, plain jane 350 Auto 4x4 Suburban. We completely repainted it. new tires, hubcaps, tires and rings. interior almost perfect with tilt cruise and cold A/C

Nice looking project!! Mine is the lil sister to yours. I have a red '93 k1500 suburban but nowhere near as nice as yours. something about this body style suburban that never gets old

That's a nice one. I wish mine was that nice. Mine was a police vehicle ('95) with 120k and also doesn't have a rack. They look great w/o them. I had someone tell me theirs didn't and it was an ex-secret service vehicle. They said it was some gov't package that deleted the rack. Does yours have hydro-boost? Did you put the newer mirrors on or did the FD do that?

No Hydroboost. just vacuum brakes. the mirrors are new, but i replaced with the same ones. scored the drink holder too! got my new speakers in this weekend
