Looking for an engine oil dipstick tube

1 Attachment(s)
Hi all,
I'm looking for the stock dipstick tube for the 454 I'm swapping into my k10. The casting number on the block is 14015445, which according to various websites means it was used in '78-'88ish light duty trucks. I'm having trouble locating this part anywhere on the internet. I'd rather not use one of those gaudy chrome universal tubes, and the junk yards are picked clean when it comes to big blocks. What are my options? I've included a pic of the engine for a reference, can anyone tell me what size oil pan that is? Thanks.

Okay, the dealership can't help me since GM quit producing those a long time ago. I also called rock auto and they don't have any either. I tried several junkyards in the area, they either didn't have big blocks, or they would only allow me to buy a complete engine if I wanted the dipstick tube.

What is so different about the 78 - 88 big blocks? Can I just rob an oil pan off of a newer 454 and use that dipstick?

I did some research, looks like my oil pan is a "double baffle" design used on '65-'69 Impala big blocks. Looks identical to this...

So in theory, I should be able to use a dipstick tube for a 65-69 Impala, correct? Sorry to drag this out, I'm just sick of buying and returning all these parts that don't fit...

I'm pretty sure that one on eBay or one like it is the one you need.

So, are the big block dip sticks straight or curved? Don't they insert in a tube in the side of the oil pan? I believe several of the Vendors carry these, I know I seen one in Classic Industries has one listed, not cheap though.
About $ 30.00

Thanks for the help guys, I ended up going with a cheap chrome one just so I can fire the engine for the first time. I'll check out some of your suggestions and find a nicer part once the truck is closer to completion.
