Watch my truck mount a Ford

But not in a good way. Transmission (200-4R) caked - only moves when cold.

The irony is that two of the things I didn't do myself were rebuild the transmission and set up the TV cable/bracket/valve. Not saying I would have done it better, but after all the recent threads about doing it yourself vs having work done for you, I find it annoying and curiously satisfying that the only failure I've had is in work I didn't do myself.

So much for a professional transmission rebuild!

They also verified the TV piston position by manually removing the pan and looking at it, so I have to assume that was set up right.

:waah:

Yes, all factory original color scheme and paints. Other than the wheels and I guess the rear-exit exhaust, it's 100% visually stock.

Professional is nearly always second rate to a competent owner. I learned that a long time ago doing landscape. My water bill is $130 tops, everyone else in neighborhood tops between $300 and $600. You'd think my landscape would be second rate, but it's second to none.

Heck yeah I do. Seriously though, poorly designed/assembled systems and landscape leads to big bucks during the summer months. We're pretty dry. Landscapers are generally not worth a &*&%.

I set my 700r up with BTO kits and a pressure gauge. 10 years and at least 40k+ miles.

So are you going to rebuild it your self this time?

I had mine done at Trans Service (Lynnwood Wa) by Dave Sr., I basically followed him around the shop as he finished the install and and went on the test drive with him on a Sunday.

Yeah, I towed the truck 250 miles to make sure it got done correctly, money well spent.

Either way, hope you get back on the road soon!
