1972 big block alternator brackets install
 

Does anyone have a picture of the 1972 big block alternator brackets installed? Specifically the rear support rod. Where does it bolt to on the engine? How is it attached? Thanks in advance.

Is it different than 1970? I can get pics of that, but don't know if it's the same (PM me if it is and I forget!)

As far as I know the 1972 big block alternator brackets are a one year only style.

Correct, it is a 72 only bracket setup,
You should be able to make out the rear rod attachment in this pictures

It looks like it attaches to a bolt which secures the header. I have stick manifolds on mine. I wonder if it attaches the same way.

Looks like it goes behind the exhaust manifold. Am I seeing that correct?

looks like a bolt hole ABOVE the exhaust manifold,...

It actually goes to a bolt above the exhaust bolt, sorry for the bad pic.

you know you can use the 327 water out let on your intake manifold Last place i want a sending unit wire is next to them Hot exhaust manifolds.The new M&H harness sits right on top of the intake manifold next to the valve cover and it looks cleaner look
