15x8's. They were blasted and painted a long time ago and never used. I'm going to run them as is along with the 88-98+ center caps and a set of 3" trim rings. Tires will be 255/60's.

Yeah I like the original skinny wheels too because you don't see many of them. But I think these will give me the look I'm after. I'm not a fan of anything bigger than these on our trucks. Maybe 15x10 in the rear but I don't like the larger diameter wheels.

I'm using them also, on my 72 K10, as soon as I find a place to media blast them for me. Going with 33 / 12.50R15's though

If any of you guys have an extra set of 15x8 6-lug, 4-nub steelies sitting around after you do this swap, let me know... ;) I'm trying to go in the opposite direction. My rallies are freshly redone, and I like the look, but I like the old school look even better.

My stock wheels are like 5x6 or smaller I believe. And they'll be sticking around seeing how value on this stuff keeps going up and up.

There was a guy selling a set of 4 in the For Sale forums, but I believe he wanted $500 + shipping. I'd like to find a set myself, but will never pay that

Yeah, I'm not paying gold prices either...

I'm going to run the '88- (not sure what year) center caps. There are studs on the back of these caps that have little plugs in the end of them. You take a pair of pliers and pop that cap off and it leaves a hole. You then use those studs to mount the center caps. 3 screws from the back of the wheel into the center cap is sufficient.

This is the plug you pop out. There are 6 studs but you only need to pop 3 out of each cap. Take out every other one. My Rally wheels have 6 holes that match up with the 6 studs but 3 of them are too small for the proper size screw.

I got a great deal on these like new Goodyear Eagle tires. 255/60-15. I was going to buy BFG Radial T/A's but these saved me $500 and they still have the look I wanted.

I like them because they look like they belong on these trucks, like they're factory.

Are those reproductions? Goodyear has not produced those for quite some time now.

I believe they're just old. But they're not dry rotted and are like new yet so I don't know. They were off a '79 Corvette.

I like the photo shots (rallys and a real mans garage). Heres mine in this photo I still needed to make the hubcap clips.

They stopped making them sometime in the mid 90's. They were a very good tire IMHO and those ones in that condition probably lead a very pampered life in a climate controlled storage... but they are probably rock hard now. Some people will give crap for running old tires, but they should be fine for pleasure driving in nice weather. If you are going to drive the truck a lot, you should probably sell them to someone looking for a period-correct tire for their show car/truck.

They seem very pliable yet. Maybe they'll wear out fast, I don't know. I do like the way they look though.

Mounted 2 of the tires up and put the center caps on. Trim rings are due in on Friday. These things are like steam rollers compared to the 215/75's that are currently on my C10.

They do look good! I'm using the same wheels on my 72 K10 and just today I also mounted all 4 tires (33 / 12.50R15's)

rallies look great on these trucks i put them on the kids 67 when i did the 5 lug swap.

your squares look bigger than ours though i allways thought rally wheels were all the same 5 lug/6lug.

i tried finding a closer pic of them but this was it.
