'72 C-10 question

I recently purchased a '72 1/2 ton.....

The tag on the glove box door has pretty much been removed, and I was wondering if anyone can help me decipher the numbers I am able to see?

The VIN is: CCE142F360926

Only the option numbers to the far left are remaining...

S44 ?
BX2 ?
D99 ?
G50 ?
LS9 ?
N40 ?
V46 ?

Thanks in advance....

Re: '72 C-10 question

This is what I can come up with. May not be all correct, just used the search box to get these.

544-white/red
G50-HD rear springs
LS9-350 v-8
BX2-Body side molding
D99-Special two tone paint
N40-Power steering
V46- Chrome front bumper

Re: '72 C-10 question

The "544" red/white paint code.....

would the color actually be the hugger orange?

the inside of my glove box door is unmolested, other than most of the options tag being peeled off, and it is orange....

Re: '72 C-10 question

No, it's not hugger orange. The 544 code is for red/white paint. 514 is red. 524 is hugger orange. #2 post in this thread has a"72 color chart.

Re: '72 C-10 question

Thank you, I do see the dash and gb on mine as the orangish hue with red traits...

Reminds me of my 1945 Willys CJ2A, the wheel color is Sunset Red, but in reality they look orange..
