22" Transit wheel-Lug ?
I have a set of transit wheels that I would like to put on a '67 stepside 2 wheel drive. The lugs on the 67 are 7/16 x 20 threads. The transit wheels use a 1/2x 20 lug. Is there a lug that has the 7/16 threads, but the conical seat of a newer style wheel ?

Also , using the stock drum brakes all the way around.

I don't know off hand, but I see that Summit has 7/16 lugs with both 45* and 60* conical seats...maybe something like that would work?

Re: 22" Transit wheel-Lug ?
Thread diameter and pitch isn't the important part of fitting new wheels to your truck. You want to use the thread diameter and pitch on your hubs now. The important part is to use the correct seat.
Many aftermarket wheels use a 60 degree seat because the hubs are made to fit many different vehicles and therefore they aren't hub centric without purchasing hub centric rings. I'm not sure if it would be the same, but you may be able to find the seat type of the vehicle they were intended for and find the correct pitch/thread for your truck with that seat. Last time I bought lugs I used Summits online eBay store because they had a free shipping deal on eBay. |

Powder coating on with original lugs. May try a 45 degree conical seat that comes in a 7/16 - 20 thread from summit.
