Need some Ideas

I want to drop my Truck as much as I can without changing the Bed. I would like to stay under $500.oo for the parts. If Possible.
I'll take any suggestions you can give, or a list of parts.

Thanks Gang:metal:

A flip kit for the rear and spindles for the front. Then you can chop a little off the front coils.

Thats why I suggested cutting the springs. Nothong wrong with cutting them if done correctly and only cut a little at a time.

Seems like it would throw the alignment off when cutting a spring.? I wanted to get some 2 1/2 or 3" Drop Spindles. And do something to the rear (like a Flip). Will I have to remove the Bed to do the Rear?

Lowering the truck at all will effect the alignment. Cutting the springs has been done for decades. It`s nothing new and not dangerous if done correctly. It does effect the spring rate but if you only chop 1/2 coil I dont think you will notice. The guy I got my truck from chopped the coild and it rides harsh only because he cut too many and its pretty much sitting on the bump stops.

You will not have to remove the bed to do a flip kit. buy the brackets, unbold the rearend and place it on top of the springs instead of under it. THere are other steps involved but thats a quick run down.
