carb 7029223

I understand this 7029223 carb is for a 69 C10 with manual transmission and that is what's in my truck now. I want to replace it with a rebuilt carb, but I have an AT truck. Question is what #s are for a 69 AT 350 Chevy truck C10? Oh.. any leads on where to buy one. Thanks. Will

You'll want 7029224.

Gotta ask!
What tranny you got?

hmmm.. actually I'm not sure, really haven't checked. I'm thinking a 350, but will check later on. Truck does have a posi rear end, not sure if that would make a difference between a 350 or 400 AT.

Re: carb 7029223

Most factory TH400 carbs do not have the arm extension that the ball or pivot is attachment point that is needed for a TH350 kickdown cable link. TH400 kickdown is electrical and does not need that attachment point.

TH400 trans has vacuum modulator @ front of pan, pass side.
TH350 has vacuum modulator @ rear of pan on pass side.
Powerglide has vac modulator @ rear of pan on drivers side...

X2
Pop the hood and look down towards the side of the trans. If you see a modulator, it's a t400.

looks like I do have a modulator and also can based it on the shape of the pan. So go with 7029224? What would be the difference between the 223 and 224? Here's a pic of my carb now as it sits on the engine.

Re: carb 7029223

It's likely the original.
No difference in either carb, just the missing part of the lever for a turbo 350 kick down.
But, You've got a turbo 400 kick down switch so that part is cut off.
Find your carb in here about 1/4 way down the link.
