C/5 regulator/filter question

When snapping the fuel line into place on the side that goes to the motor, is it supposed to be a little loose? Does it move in and out a little?
Talking about the side with the gauge on it in the pic.

Yes, mine moves like that and I've never had a leak.

Yes they are a little loose but do not leak.
