WTB tool box door lock and key
 

Looking for a tool box door lock and key. Key must be an "A" keyway. I think 71 had those. Must be a tool box lock the door cylinders are a bit different. Let me know if you have one. Rod.

Here is a picture of a door lock cylinder and a tool box cylinder. The one with the arm on it is what I need. Also a pic of the key. You can slightly see the letter "A" stamped into it just below the head of it.

Picture or where the stamping would be. If you don't have a key these are the codes on it that I need.

1971 : Lock Code Series: 0A00-9A99 & 0B00-9B99
Key: Groove 50, "A" Keyway, GM Key Blank # 320588

Here is a better picture of where the letter code is stamped on the key. I have one stamped B with key if someone wants to trade.

I think the match keys for 71 were "A" ignition and "B" door. You probably have the correct one unless you are trying to key everything to the ignition, in which case, I don't think they were available. Maybe, a locksmith could re-cylinder and key it? I did a Google search on the GM key blanks and my 72 is C and D.... Hope this helps in your search!

Yeah this is what I figured but thought I would ask. I am wanting to put a tool box in my 67 and 67 uses 1 key for everything. I don't want 2 keys so if I can't find an A keyway I won't put it in
