I haven't posted any updated pics of my truck in a long time. I've been really busy with life and haven't had the time. But I got my truck out today and snapped some pics, the first are from Aug 2013 right after I bought it, then current day. I'm super happy with how this truck turned out. It's tight, quiet, and runs like a top. I think I like this truck better than my old 72 even. Wouldn't be where it is today without this board. Many thanks to all the members here for info and parts.

I still need to install my 3.42's and posi, build an exhaust system, replace the passenger cab corner and rocker, and get the seat done. But I've other winters coming up for those projects. It's time to enjoy this thing all summer now.

very nice! the bed matches very well.

a 67 custom/cst horn cap would compliment the interior nicely...

Wow man that is really nice! If you had to guess, what would you say your hp/tq numbers are like? I've been learning quite a bit about these I6's lately, they are pretty cool engines. Very nice truck, and a great year to have as well.

Thank you , I don't condone fauxtina, but I needed to look at it from a financial standpoint, I have less than $400 in getting the bed where it is. That includes building a dolly for it.
I'm actually on the hunt for a CST horn cap.

The motor is stock minus the addition of the other Monojet. I just cleaned and resealed it, it was in good enough condition I didn't have to rebuild it. So hp and torque would be around stock numbers. The 5-speed behind it makes it really nice though.

Thanks! Front is CPP 3" drop springs with ECE 2.5 drop spindles. Rear is ECE 6" drop springs, shock relocators, and adjustable panhard bar with CPP 1.5" blocks and c-notch. Wheels are Wheel Vintiques O.E.'s, 15x7's and 15x8's, all with 4.25" backspace. Tires are BFG 225/70's and 275/60's. The truck is 5-lug with a 71/72 rearend.

It's just right. You had chrome reverses on there for a little while, didn't you?

Great looking truck. What gears are in it now? I would thing with the 5 speed either 3.73 or 4.10 would be a better choice than 3.42. What's your though process?

I did Tim, and I loved the look, but a buddy of mine wanted them worse then me. Plus I had this look rattling around in my head for a while.

It has 3.73's in it now. My T-5 has a very low first gear, I shift into second gear after about 15ft of taking off, so I'd like to help with that, plus I like to build my trucks for the open road so I'd like to have the option to roll 80-85mph sometimes without turning that six too hard. The overdrive on it is only around .8 also.

How bout some detail photos of the carb linkage? Fixing to try something the same as yours. Are you running the stock exhaust manifold also?

Man those 67 and 68 hoods and grills are really growing on me, especially in that color.
