Seat cover
I am about to finish my truck. Went to order the seat cover from classic industries and back ordered 4-6 weeks. What do you guys think of this cover?

Re: Seat cover
I love that look... wish I could find it Black/black... instead of Black/Silver!

Re: Seat cover
Call them up and ask. They have a 3 year warranty. Seems like a good plan

Any other thoughts out there?

Re: Seat cover
Most likely a local upholstery shop can do the same cover for the same price or less. Also, is your seat foam perfect? Most seats are worn down at the drivers's butt location and need foam repair. I had my seat rebuilt with thicker and denser foam than stock and a factory appearing cloth covering for $230 (I think), but I am in the low income state of AZ. That was about 6 years ago. I found a closely matching seat cover in color and style and put that over the top of my rebuilt seat. So far, all is good.
I am going to convert the seats in my 83 to Chrysler Sebring Convertible seats with integrated seat belts eventually. I want a better 3 point seat belt and a headrest. |
Re: Seat cover
I know it's been several years but I swear it only cost me about $200 to have mine recovered and the foam built up a little in the drivers seat. Sometimes the DIY price is twice what a pro will charge.

Re: Seat cover
Quote from my local guy was over $700. Just for the cover. Don't know about the foam yet. Going to pull it down out of storage tomorrow. And have a good look

I had left over vinyl, so I had Crusin'Cupholders make me a seat console with my vinyl. |
