'58 Apache, Stupid Brake Pedal Question
Installed the firewall mount booster and bracket. The peddle that came with the kit has a stud coming straight out the back of it and the hole on the pedal arm has a hole perpendicular to that stud.
How does the peddle mount to the arm? CPP instructions say nothing about it, just curious if i am missing something or i should just make it work. Anyone have a picture of the back of their brake peddle using the CPP or similar firewall bracket? |
Re: '58 Apache, Stupid Brake Pedal Question
your missing a part that bolts to the pedal arm end and allows the pad to mount to it

If you are interested, I made a few modifications to this pedal and bracket to make it even better. Details with photos are in my build thread.

I looked at your build and do admire your truck.
I didn't want to wait for CPP to send me a new part, so i just made one. Almost ready to get the truck on the road. |
