We guy's I took it as far as I could... I'm turning it over to the pro to spay up nice. I figured I would put these before pics up so you could compare them to the afters when it's done. The painter applauded me on my fab skills and body work...woohoo cheaper labor and better paint job. I'm super excited!!!!!!

Oh no more like 69 camaro style. If you look at the special edition prank thread there is a pic.

ahh.. I've been struggling with the idea of doing a 69 Camaro front end as well. I have some Camaro front parts on the way to see what I can do... Lower front fenders and valance and front lower spoiler and might do the grille too. Its a daunting task to undertake, but hey... its only money and time right? Two things I don't have much of...

Re: fixen to go to paint...

Well fellas, unfortunately no pics yet. Im chomping at the bit to see it my self. The fella that is doing it works at a custom car shop and is doing it here in town on the side. His dad found out he had cancer about a month ago and unfortunately passed last weekend. The truck is close to being ready to shoot, but this guy is meticulous and wants it perfect. Thats good for me.... he does awesome work and has several builds in the magazine's so im sure it will look good so i'm just being patient.... my fronts are 15x8 rears are 15×12 w 6.5 back space. Ill keep you posted as soon as i get updates. I did get my corbeau seats in and im hoping my percision performance shifter will be here in a week or so. Its been 8 weeks since i ordered it

It is good to know you have someone you can trust

Re: fixen to go to paint...

The reason I was asking about the size of your welds is because I have a set of 15x8 and 15x14 how is the fit inside at the frame? And how much did you end up extending your wheel wells in ? :smoke:

Re: fixen to go to paint...

Have not made tubs, plenty of room for more wheel and tires, 18.5's would fit easy. I wish i had 7.5 bs but with trimming these work. Its tight caus im low tho....

Very nice work, looks great and I'm sure once its painted it will look even better. I am sorry to hear about your painters father. The Weld wheels look great! I have 15x8's on the rear and 15x7's on the front of my truck.

I don't care if you only paid 100.00 if he agreed to paint the whole truck and do a great job then a great job is what you expect.
