Reverse Light microswitch on a muncie 4 speed
We swapped a Muncie 3 speed for a Muncie 4 speed with a Hurst shifter. Where is the best place to attach a switch for the reverse lights in a Muncie M-20 4 speed setup? (We have a 1972 C-10 w/350)

I don't know how the factory did it, but you could study which way the linkage moves when going into reverse. Then hold the switch up to it and figure out how to make a mount that would catch some nearby existing bolts. I did a T400 kickdown switch like that and it worked well.

not exact, but similar. on my Cuper T-1o I put the swtich for the lights at the rear of the shifter. I used the shift stop bolt to hold a small bracket with the switch. when I pushed forward into reverse, the shifter arm moved back and hit the switch

Thanks for the input. It looks like will need to get creative with building a bracket.

I used this on the m-20 in my 68.
