Whee 92 Octane going byebye =S
I just met up with my buddy Tim, he has a blown 350 in his Camaro, as we were standing around talking we both smell fuel at the same time, we duck under his car to see his Premium fuel literally pouring out of his fuel pump, needless to say he went home like right away (I almost forgot my sister who I was out there to pick up anyways) he made it home, but lost 3/4 of a tank of fuel during the 8 minute trip home...

Glad he didn't catch fire on that. I had 74 K-5 Blazer that caought fire due to a leaking carb. Not a bad fire but enough to sell it. :(
|
Yeah, thats why I followed him home, I was really worried he was gonna get some fuel on his headers and have the engine comparment burst into flames...
|
And with gad prices the way they are!!!. I am not sure I would have driven that bad boy camero home. forget the fuel. He's lucky he didn't loose 3/4 of himself or the car. I get parinoid when it comes to gasoline. Had too many friends need skingraphs after thinking gas would be good to use to start a campfire or grill.
Glad him and his car are ok. |
Yeah, all the guys in the parking lot were throwing matches at the puddle of gas once we pulled out... Needless to say it exploded, but no one got hurt, thank goodness...
