63 Suburban

Hi all, I purchased a 63 Suburban at the weekend and it requires a few parts which I'm struggling to find .

Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction for the following parts.

Lift Gate hinges
Lift Gate support (passenger side)
Heater knobs
Rear side window catch

Thanks in advance

Chris

Lift Gate hinges- used
Lift Gate support (passenger side) - used
Heater knobs - reproduced, same as pickup
Rear side window catch - used ($50-100 ea) or repro ($70/pr)

This is the best place to look

captain chaos - Welcome to the forum. Very nice suburban!!!

I had to edit your post to remove the want to buy part, as non subscribing members are not allowed to post Want to Buy/Sell ads. Your best bet is to look in the Classified area on the forum and see what's for sale or become a subscribing member and you can post up what you are looking for.

Thanks for your understanding and again welcome! :D

Not a problem, sorry I didn't know about that but I shall become a subscribing member, some rather nice trucks on here and suspect there will be other parts I shall need to find.

Welcome Captain Chaos! Are those fog lights in the grille next to the G and C?
What's the back story on your Burb? Still have the V6? More photos please and liking the two-tone color as well.

I have only owned the truck a few weeks, the only history I know is that it came over to the UK in 2008 painted yellow and white, its had a serious amount of body work carried out in two sittings including the interior being re trimmed in period vinyl, lowered using blocks and spindles and a few other alterations.

It does still have the 305 V6 fitted but the engine bay could do with a little refresh.

Next to the GMC badge a a pair of chrome bullets added by a previous owner.

I'll get some more pics at the weekend.
