Worked at Chevy Duty? - Need an original spare tire carrier?
About a year ago I was talking to a guy that worked at Chevy Duty on the phone. He was a real help and we both used to post at wulf's. He had told me that very day he had busted out his rear hatch glass on his Blazer. Anyway - he said that if I ever wanted to get rid of my spare tire carrier to let him kniow. Well - I had to part with my Blazer, but still have that original behind the seat heavy triangular spare tire carrier. If you are out there and are still interested or you know him - it is available if you want it. I wanted to check with you first and this is about the way I could think of. If there is anyone else that may be interested - let me know.

I'm interested. How much? Pics?
Thanks, Davy |
Shoot what's a spare tire carrier worth 150 or so??? Saw a few in the yard the other day..

They can be a bit pricy if there are none around. I happen to have 2 and plan to keep them for now.

I will make some photos. I have not decided on a price. I do not want to give it away for nothing, but I do not want to ask an obnoxious price either. They are just hard to come by for some reason.

If the Guy you talked to at Chevy Duty was named Charlie, I have his phone number. He is restoring a blazer. Let me know.

Yes - please send me his number or email. I would like to give him a shot at it first if it is the same guy.
