Dbl. wall top w/dents

I got a freebie double wall top the other day.. a lady I know had promised it to me about 5 yrs. ago. It had been buried in junk in her back yard and she finally uncovered it. Badly weathered, good glass, hatch, hinges. Latch is broken and missing. Inside is nice but the outside is dented and wavy. I've looked for a repair/restore thread in the search forum and haven't found one. Any easy fix ideas? Thanks in advance.

I have seen multiple threads on repairs not sure how you would search differently. I saw one years ago drilling holes and shooting foam insulation in them. I don't remember how it turned out You might want to post some pics. Wavy tops are part of the double top. Just depends on how bad.
Good Luck

couple of pictures, dents are pretty bad. It had some junk on top of it. SO many previous posts about top or top repair that it's hard to learn much... I'll confess, I'm lazy too, time consuming read looking through all those posts. Hoped somebody had a miracle cure.;)

I don't think shooting foam in between the 2 layers is a good solution. Foam will deform the inside. and not flatten the top.

Unless you are bagging it, no one will see it. Spray foam is way to uncontrollable and you will just end up blowing the top apart or causing big cracks. I am doing mine from the outside. A lot of work, but a lot less chance of screwing it up.
